Dean says that no one is "pro-abortion," but "we are the party in favor of allowing women to make up their own minds about their health care." And Democrats are not for "gay marriage," but "we are the party that has always believed in equal rights under the law for all people." Voters are smart enough to know that the Democrats are staunch defenders of abortion and homosexuality, whatever rhetorical embroidery Dean attempts. How he will help in red states with this kind of talk is a mystery.
Not really. The selectivist Christians and secularists believe that God is an invention of mankind. Therefore, the thinking is:
Translation: If you are a Dem in a red state and you want to believe in Democrats, believe in "this".
It's the new Democrat "morality" play.

Isn't it funny with this tags politicos create?
For those "pro-life", you assume the opposite position is "anti-life". Thus the reason the Dems chose "pro-choice" so they force the opposition to fight the "anti-choice" label.
Oh the games we all play with words. It all comes out in the wash, yes?
Mata: The scene keeps gettingg more and more interesting. I think however, we are getting to more a point of clarity than otherwise in re definitions, players, strategies, delivery.
