President Bush's Patriot Act requires customer banking data to be encrypted, and holds companies criminally responsible for *any* loss of control of said customer data.

The passing of the USA PATRIOT Act reinforces the reality that any paper or electronic data management program should garner top priority for corporate leadership and corporate governance. The Patriot Act requires the Secretary of the Treasury to prescribe regulations "setting forth the minimum standards for financial institutions and their customers regarding the identity of the customer that shall apply in connection with the opening of an account at a financial institution.
Bravo! Know someone who just got dinged, now the 6th time, in an ID theft. It's getting sorted. I want the creep to get NAILED. Same creep as the last time, too. Last time the creep was drunk and disorderly and assaulted an Police Officer. This time, the creep was only drunk. Same location, too.
We gotta do something about the DMVs. Danged but we do. Where an entire "personna profile" can get stolen... Oh sure, my friend plans to run for public office, and have this "creep" behavior used against him by the lefties. No time for him to explain, right.
Now why do I think lefties hate the end of ID theft? Because 1) they say they hate the Patriot Act. 2) It's just so like them, and their pranks.
