Van Gogh death highlights Dutch MultiCulture failure

By Stephen Brown, Front Page Magazine

Excerpt:

The recent assassination of Dutch author and moviemaker, Theo van Gough, by a Muslim extremist in Amsterdam should come as no surprise to those familiar with the condition of multiculturalism in Holland. Earlier this year, the Dutch government became the first Western state to admit that the multicultural experiment, the biggest socialist fraud ever to be foisted on countries since the Soviet one, is a colossal failure.

This admission came in the form of an all-party parliamentary report that basically concluded, among other things, that Muslim immigrants, who make up almost one million of Holland’s 16 million inhabitants, are refusing to integrate. (snip)

Mata Musing:

Above is an absolutely stellar analysis of Holland's immigration policies, excessive liberalism and their results. And, if Mr. Brown is as accurate in his future predictions as he is in his assessment, the death of Van Gogh is only the beginning of the civil violence.

As the Muslim population continues to grow world wide, most notably, in a complacent Europe, it becomes apparent that the key to success for these grandiose, utopian "multicultural societies" lies in the ability of immigrants to assimilate - to peacefully commune, interact and accept other cultures that make up a State's nationalist population.

For the Dutch, one of the most liberal of Euro-States, the Islam immigation boom revealed the impossibility of Muslims to assimilate fully since it required them to accept notions abhorrent to their faith... such as women's rights, freedom of expression, drugs and homosexuality. Instead of becoming part of Holland, they kept to their own communities and formed their own state within a state.

To point out the obvious, clearly the "divided country" label is not confined to the USA. The followers of peaceful Islam share the same difficulties as America's "red zones" in accepting the increasingly liberal policies proposed by progressive leaders.

Among these are some with a familiar theme to Americans... the most notable being bi-lingual education... an experiment in which Holland undeniably proves the policy only increased the great divide between immigrants and nationals.

How ironic the social-liberal experiment, designed to integrate, has instead served to not only segregate, but to drive many of the liberal progressives responsible for the experiment out of the country.

What is possibly most frightening about Mr. Brown's article is a repeat of the revelation that Islam is organizing a European Army by those who trained in Afghanistan, and returned to their own States to further train and trade in weaponry on the black market.

This is not an Army loyal to their State of residence, the EU nor the UN. Instead, it will be an Army dedicated to perhaps resurrecting the "caliphate"... the single Islamic State. A concept opposed to religious freedom, and far from "multi-cultural" or "tolerant" in design.

While it is true the WOT is not a war against Islam, but extremists of the faith, it is also true that too many peaceful Muslims lack the courage to condemn the extremists and rein in their own outlaws. Part of the problem is most likely agree, to some degree, with the extremists, sharing their distain for the western trend of liberalism. But another truth is they also fear retaliation should they lend their voices to the opposition. The Islamic terrorists' treatment of those they consider traitorous is well documented.

The international community should take a long, hard look at Holland's great experiment and rethink their ways. But that's an unlikely event for stubborn progressive leaders determined to foist a homogenous lifestyle amongst non-homogenous peoples.

It may take many more "Hollands" and more voices like Jaap De Hoop Scheffer (See NATO chief urges Europe against terror below) for progressives to come to bear with the imminent failures of their policies. But there is no doubt about it... the world community is in severe need of a reality check and attitude adjustment.
