I don't understand. If you want to comment to a comment, you just add another... er... comment. Leastwhys that's what is done on forums, message boards, and other blogs such as Capt's Quarters, Hugh Hewitt, etc.
Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a dark border on the sides, and white in the middle for easier reading. Otherwise the "outlet" for my rants, and the ability to make a counterpoint, seems adequate as it is.
