Be careful what you ask for....

From the Baltimore Sun comes "Taxes Fuel Discontent" by Bradley Olson. It appears that a solid 53% win by Dem Gov. Martin O'Malley just over a year ago has resulted in "$1.3 billion in tax increases passed during November's special legislative session".

Listening to Presidential wannabees, most notably on the DNC side, can one expect anything different for we, the taxpayers, on the federal level?

We "want", we "want" we "want".... "Free" healthcare, as if there were such a thing. Govt control over business profits... as long as it isn't "my" business.... always someone else's business. We "want"... or at least we "want" until we get it.

The lesson here is to be very careful what you ask for... because in politics, you are likely to get it. And for that, the price paid will be heavy.
