This is just too good not to reprint... tongue in cheek, acerbic and terse slap on the hand for the MA junior Senator... LOL
Sen. John Kerry, who if memory serves used to be a serious politician, seems intent on turning himself into a caricature of what a Democrat ought to be.
This week, too busy attending the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, to participate in the Senate debate on the nomination of Judge Samuel Alito to the Supreme Court, Kerry nevertheless phoned in with a thought. Why don’t the Democrats filibuster the nomination?
Gosh, maybe because Alito has a spotless record, a sharp legal mind, and a blemish-free 15 years on the federal appeals court. Or maybe because the American Bar Association gave him its highest approval rating. Or maybe because he conducted himself during days of grueling Senate Judiciary Committee hearings with calm and what can only be called judicial temperament.
abbba... duh... duwur... and dat's all, folks!
