TrekMedic/MH: Good question in re SF and Bloggers

TM -- you've asked a good question in re San Francisco "regulating" bloggers: How would they go about "regulating" bloggers?

The documents I've seen do not say "how". But I do have some thoughts: In the 90s, Tom Ammiano, then a "SF Supe" laid down the law that all 501/503(?)(3)c (and b's) MUST register with City Hall. Who did these SF persons have in mind and what was this in response to? Conservative or Christian or Republican organizations. Under this newer "rubric" these organizations would have to register SPECIFICALLY with SF City Hall. I tracked the issue for a while and then had to move onto some other items; so I don't know for sure what has happened with that.

In re Bloggers. How they'd catch em? They'd either have to force ISPs and providers to "name" names, or rather IPS which indicate a blogger is resident within SF or posting within an SF Domain. IMHO. I can tell you dollars to donuts: There are many SF (liberal) bloggers who go to international sites and register their blogs from there -- so this means, the SF "elite" body would not catch these. That is, unless the country as a whole goes to "regulating" a WALL around the US, which would then, of course, create a listing (therefore and thereby) of whom within the USA is "blogging" or using a foreign site for posting and email.

What do I think this new "rule" stems from? There was a case, not too long back in CA. I'm sure I could google and dig around to refind it; but someone within CA, working for a (state) government entity published ON THE WEB THE DECEPTIONS, FRAUD, AND DECEIT GOING ON WITHIN THAT PUBLIC ENTITY.

This rippled up and down the coast of CA. I do not think they caught the person. But, it was very upsetting to the Democrats.

Thanks for listening! :)

Mata -- Every day I find some newer reason to give thanks for being here. :) As CA Socialists get more and more starved for cash -- and since the Feds have already made clear to CA Dems that the FEDS are NOT a cash cow for raiding -- the Dems in CA are going to be getting more and more dastardly in getting funds out of its citizenry -- in order to prop up the Dem Agenda of "we care for specific people more than anyone else does": In short, they'll place unfair, unconstitutional taxations upon those who "can pay" in order to provide for those who fit in and support the Dem Agenda.

They starved Terri Schiavo. And they can't yet address that they are being starved of their usual "cash cows". You know? Those evil people with money. Especially white. Especially Male. Especially Republicans. And with the feds standing firm upon their own new guidelines; the CA Dems are finding they can't raid the Fed accounts nor the State Accounts (vis a vis Gov Arnold).

But the CA Dems have still got their voices. They eat and drink. They spend the taxpayer dollar like it is water. And they sup fully at that trough.

Terri made nary a sound as she was being starved to death.

Count on hearing the Dems making all kinds of noises as they go without all that extra money they've used in one pretense (helping the poor, for example); but have used for their own brand of politicking.

I expect any moment to hear CA Dems screaming: We're being STARVED by that EVIL ADMIN, that EVIL GOVERNATOR, and all the EVIL RED STATE PEOPLE in state and nation!

Of course, the CA Dems'll then go out and have a nice lunch at a nifty trendy restaurant, get their nails done, promote more sexual-racial-based (someone-else-pay) health policies. And then return to their offices to rail for more spending dollars.

With all the funds, state and Fed, through 30 years time being "used" and "directed" by Democrats -- there should be no poor, period. No starving. No suffering. In truth, it's only gotten worse under Democrat administering and obtaining of "funds".

Piffle on 'em.
