Contractors and soldiers together in a dining tent were murdered Tuesday by a suicide bomber in an Iraqi uniform who infiltrated the area.Upon the news of the horrific attack, New York Times journalist Richard Stevenson shamefully tapped out an account, turning the tragedy into a political assault on the Bush administration. There is no end to the hutzpah of some. Ratings or hype all seem to take priority over the value of life in the MSM nowadays.

Thus it is a pleasure to find the above linked article. One filled with names and memories of those who died. It is a simple, journalistic tribute - sans sensationalism, rebuke, and judgement - to those who lost their lives far from home, helping strangers fight for a better life in a country yearning for self-government. So many splendid lives lost in the simple act of breaking bread and enjoying a brief rest... and at Christmas time when joy and peace are the truly the hopes of us all.
My heart goes out to the families and loved ones of all who died in the Mosul attack. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
