ABC News reported last night that Rich's alleged role in the growing UN oil-for-food scandal is under investigation by federal officials.

Rich, who was pardoned by Clinton in January 2001, and several other prominent oil traders are suspected of making illegal kickbacks to Iraq to win the lucrative oil contracts, the network reported.

Well. I'm still wondering about one widdle ting: Remember the US Oil then President Clinton GAVE AWAY to some unknown guy? A black guy -- that's all the description I got; MSM were most obviously closeting the man's name.

Which brings up for me the CA Willie Brown scandals concerning "energy" abuse. Lance Williams (SF Chron/Exam reporter) covered it. Willie Brown was hamstringing PG&E. Demanding PG&E "give" energy to some unknown, brand new to "energy" Minority Guy who was running an outfit called "Catenaga". (note to self: Cotecna/Catenaga (or Catanaga). And Willie Brown got his specialist army to go out to Diablo Nuclear (new plant) and keep on finding fault with the plant so it ran into budget overruns so the public would be furious.

Anyway, PG&E eventually succumbed. And Willie Brown's "guy" got the deal. You know who that guy was?

Johnie Cochran.

Yep. And he later went on to build quite the legal practice. Wonder where he got the funds to do so? Plus the connections?
