"God" is clear speak

Peggy Noonan's column in the Wall Street Journal is excellent in bringing attention to a linguistic malady afflicting the Democrat Party: Words as code.

It is patently clear the Democrats see Republican communications as a Pavlovian exercise of raw power through their invocation of certain phrases. Like, "God".

The point is, IME, speaking in code is precisely how Democrats communicate with each other and their liberal umbrella coalitions. (And so, they think Republicans must do so as well). (Hint: Republicans don't. They don't have to speak in code; the plain Word is what it is, Baby!)

Democrats are perpetually on the march to change the meaning of words; or, devise newer terms to denote their "political" group identity - no different than schoolchildren cliques -- coming up with terms that the "in" group (they think of themselves) use. and everyone else, should they likewise with to be "cool", would use.

Let's see.. "dissin", "breeders", "gravitas", meaning of "is" and so forth.

An example I received last week? A 9th grade classroom discussion. The "N" word came up. A white student asks why the word is perjorative when used by whites, but a "clan" word when used by blacks. A black female responds: Because you say "n***er". We say "n***ah". The word "n***ah" is a real word. And the way we say it has meaning."

White student says -- SHOW me where it says that in the dictionary?
**
Of course, I, having been through this exact round of debate years ago already know the "black" response: "It isn't in Merriam-Webster and because those are white guys who refuse to acknowledge the black culture": oppression."

Every single last one of the Dem/Lib identity groups -- are cut from the same cloth -- devising their own words and semantics -- and then going hysterical when the mass of Americans who are ardent supporters of clear, solid communications -- don't understand liberalese! Americans rejected liberalese at the ballot box just this past November.

And the Democrats are depressed?

The very Democrats who claim they want "better education" for the students are also supporters of the "identity" groups munching up clear communications.

Peggy Noonon perfectly describes how those who pursue a Liberal (as opposed to liberal arts) education cannot understand simple words. When pointyheads (and id group leaders) are perpetually and with malice deconstructing words and meanings all the time, it's no wonder Democrats lost the election.

Jive. Remember "Jive"? Talking Jive? Fast flash to the flick "Airplane". Two dudes speaking jive. "June Cleaver" responds in jive; the two dudes get offended.

There's your picture, Democrats. When Republicans respond to your "jive" you get upset. This is also why Governor Arnold refers to you as "girlie men", and rightly so. This is also why Rush Limbaugh refers to you as cowardly -- and because when you get responded to in your "secret codes" you get all pushed out of shape; and because a). you won't come clear about what you really are standing for, b) and get adolescently petulent when called on it in words that the vast majority of Americans understand.

I think the word "dissin" contributes to the stupidity of general America. If being respected is so tantamount in the liberal wordview, one would think there'd be more words in the "clique" language to describe being "disrespected". And since the word is so limited, it's hardly surprising that murders are resulting over such simple things as verbal squabbles.

But then, this probably keeps the other liberal group "Population Control" people in happy.

Democrats are destroying their own party through use of "subliminal" codes.
