A Tunisian astrologer who reportedly predicted the deaths of Princess Diana, Hamas leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin and Yasser Arafat says President Bush will be killed by an assassin's bullet in 2005.

Nope. I already checked. This will not be happening: President Bush will not be assassinated; and he will live to a ripe old age -- healthy (but with minor ailments) to the end.

However, the paper tempered its report by saying critics label Sharibi "a quack with flair who relies on logic and wishful thinking.

I rely upon more than logic and wishful thinking. And so does President Bush.

Okeeey. I forgot to put a "subject" line in...

Mercy... why is Joe Farah giving this type of story legs, Alia? Certainly it's not "news". This is something I'd expect to see coming out of astrologists and society column mentality types, not WND.

I'm quite sure the secret service has anticipated assassination attempts since the beginning of the war in Afghanistan. The terrorists would dearly love to take out the Cowboy Prez.

Nor would Abbas be a surprise, running on a "moderate" platform not to the liking of Hamas. You can also include anyone in the Afghan elected gov't, and front runners in the Iraqi election.

Wow... it takes a "seer" to come up with something so obvious??

Bunk... and shame on Farah for giving this BS even the dignity of public exposure.

Erm, I know what you mean, Mata. I think Joe gave it press -- linking "heathen" religions with occult practices, and the evil it do. Something like that. However, given this guy, the "seer's" record... he probably does a "hate" list regularly -- having thousands of names on it, including his neighbors' pets -- and broadcasts these as the "future". What's he gotta lose? Even a stopped clock is right twice a day...
